Anyone between age 25 and 45 can participate from any part of the world. No parents or friends are allowed. (We do not provide visas ,travel documents, or cost of travel)

Is everyone attending only from Florida or the Southern United States?

No. This event is open to anyone who wishes to attend in person. Candidates have come from all over the US, Canada, and UK in the previous years.

Do I have to attend both Friday evening and Saturday?

We understand that coordinating work and travel schedules is not easy, but it is highly recommended that you attend both days so you get the most out of the event. Both days are formatted differently for everyone to meet others in a structured fashion yet in a very relaxed and fun atmosphere. Attending both days will give you a better understanding and more opportunities to meet the candidates. Access to any materials or information about the other candidates can only be accessed upon arrival and check-in.

What is the average age of the candidates?

Average age varies depending upon enrollment. We try our best to have have balanced enrollments in each age bracket.

How many candidates are there? What is male to female ratio?

We try to limit our event to approximately 150 participants and we will try our best to have a 1:1 ratio of men to women. The total candidate number will vary.


Friday: Casual is okay but remember that you will be making your first impression

Saturday Daytime: Business casual

Saturday Evening: Dress to impress/cocktail attire. The Saturday evening attire for ladies can be both Indian or Western. We have seen female candidates wear Sarees, Chania choli’s, Indian gowns as well as Western formal dresses. Wear any formal dress you are comfortable with. Regarding men, we have normally seen suits or shirts with tie. Some come in Indian formal attire and some wear Indian coatee/jacket to create east-west fusion attire.

What is the interactive HMUSA App and when will I get it?

Once you have registered you will receive a link and a unique password to download and access the HMUSA app. You will be able to add photos and information about yourself so that the potential soulmate of opposite gender can learn about you and ‘search’ you out. Once you arrive at the venue and check-in at the registration desk, the interactive features of the app will be activated. The same app will give you access to information on candidates of the opposite gender who have also arrived at the event so you can learn about them. Please be sure to upload as much information about you in the app and your photos that you would like to share with the candidates prior to and during the event.

What is the cost of registration and deadline to register?

What does the registration fee include?

The fee includes Friday light dinner, Saturday’s transportation to/from the event venue to the designated hotel (Hampton Inn), breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Cash bar for Beer and Wine will be available during Saturday evening event.

How do I pay my registration fees?

Is my registration fee refundable?

100% fee will be refunded if cancelled 45 days prior to the event; 50% will be refunded if cancelled between 30 and 45 days of the event; no refund will be issued after that time.

How can I cancel and ask for a refund?

Please send us an email with your registration ID and contact information.


Do you provide transportation?

Yes. We will have shuttles available at between the designated hotel and the venue during the day and evening Saturday. If you are not staying at the designated hotel, you will have to make your own arrangements.


How does Hinduism factor into the process?

Candidates who are Hindu, Jain or Sikh are welcome to register for the event. There will be no religious activities during the program. You do not have to be a strict practicing member of any of the listed faiths as long as you are a believer of and identify yourself from these three faiths.

Will there be a book of all participating candidates?

No. The entire event will have live interactive app experience where attendees will be able to see details of participants of opposite gender. The attendees data will be available to the attendees from Friday evening onwards after the registration.

Do I have to attend the event for access to candidate Info? Can I send someone in my place?

Attendance is mandatory to access the app and receive any candidate info. You cannot send a parent/sibling/friend or anyone else in your place. A government issued current legal photo id that matches registrant's information is needed to participate in the event.

Can parents/friends come with me?

There is no event planned for the parents and the parents will not be allowed access in to the event venue. We want the candidates to meet one-on-one without inhibitions. Parents can visit nearby temples, restaurants, and many other tourist locations.

10Referral Bonus

What is Referral Bonus and how can I get it?

One time Referral bonus of $25.00 is available when you have first registered for the event, and you refer someone of the opposite gender than yours. Next, your referred friend will need to provide your name as a referrer when registering. Finally, both of you have to attend the event. We will issue the bonus of $25.00 to each of you. It is necessary that both must attend the event. Please refer as many acquaintances you know, but the bonus is available only one time.

We are committed to the health and safety of all participants and team members. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable matrimonial event. Candidates should attest that they meet pandemic related requirements.

12About Fees


We are a non-profit charitable organization entirely run by volunteers dedicated to year-round service to the community. The registration fee pays for the venue rental, furniture and equipment rental, decorations, DJ, breakfast, lunch, dinners, and refreshments. As you can read in the testimonials, you can focus on finding your life partner and we'll take care of all the rest.
